Lazy Caffè has quickly become my new go to spot in Lake Hiawatha! This little Italian-inspired cafe brings such a warm, authentic vibe — it feels like stepping into a cozy neighborhood spot in Italy. The espresso is excellent: my cappuccino was perfectly balanced, rich, and not too bitter. The pastries are outstanding — flaky, golden croissants, fresh muffins, and those Italian treats that are impossible to resist. Everything tastes homemade and high-quality. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming — they remember your name after a couple visits. It's only been open a short while, but it's already a local favorite for good reason.

I've been here twice now and am extremely impressed with their wonderful and friendly service! I really enjoyed their berry/yogurt/granola bowl and their pistachio muffins. I've enjoyed their regular lattes and also tried a "Love You A Latte" which was a specialty for February. Yum!

Just the type of coffee and snack spot we needed. Owner is from the same region of Italy my family traces back to. The Asiago & Prosciutto croissant is killer.

There aren't any reviews under five stars — and there's a reason for that. The coffee is excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is genuinely kitchen-made — not just something reheated and rushed out. You can taste the difference. Even the little details stand out. The music and ambiance truly make you feel like you've been transported to Italy. It's the kind of place where you can sit for hours, sip your coffee slowly, let your worries fade, and simply be "lazy" while watching the world walk and drive by outside the windows. A perfect spot to unwind.

What a lovely addition to Lake Hiawatha — such a great new spot for coffee! When I stumbled upon Lazy Caffè and learned it was an Italian coffee shop, I knew I had to try it right away. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. Their lattes are surprisingly affordable, and the flavors are absolutely delicious. We tried drinks from their Valentine's menu — the "Berry Much in Love" and the "Love You A-Latte" — and the berry latte completely blew me away. So unique and incredibly tasty. I will definitely be coming back!

New cafe in Lake Hiawatha playing Italian oldies?! Lattes under $5?! Somewhere in Morris County an Italian American angel has just gained her wings. Lazy Caffe is an amazing addition to the neighborhood. Delicious coffee and lots of space to hang out.
